- How much does 3D printing cost?
- The price depends on your model and reflects the actual cost of making it — the material used, printing time, and a small setup fee. All of this is already included in the instant price estimate you see right after uploading your file. You don't need to sign up or leave your contact details to get a quote — just upload the model and see the number. I will only ask for your contact info — email and phone number — when you decide to place the order. Printing multiple copies of the same item together is cheaper, as very small orders are subject to a minimum order fee. If you need it faster, you can choose rush production. The price you see is the price you pay — I will confirm it via email and it won't change unless you ask for something custom in the comments or the model needs a fix, which I will let you know about in advance. - How long will my order take?
- Standard turnaround is about 7 business days; rush is 2–3 business days (×1.5 price). I confirm the exact timeline by email along with the final price. I reply to messages within 1–2 business days, and finished parts ship by parcel locker.
- What file do I need to send?
- Send an STL or 3MF file — the standard 3D model formats most modeling software and model libraries export. I print the part exactly as it is in the file: I don't edit the geometry, so any sizing needs to already be in the model.
- Which materials do you print?
- I print in a handful of materials — from everyday PLA to tougher and more flexible options. I cover what to pick for what on the materials page. Right now I stock:
- What happens after I submit an order?
- I review your file and get it ready to print, then email you the final price and timeline. You pay through the link I send, I print it, and ship it to a parcel locker. You can follow your order the whole way.
- What will my part actually look like?
- 3D printing has its own quirks — visible layer lines, an approximate color, and strength that varies with direction. I show what to expect up close on the What to expect page.
- What happens to my files and model?
- Your model stays yours — I use it only for your order and never resell it. I delete the uploaded file once the order's done and a short window has passed; I only keep the order details (material, weight, print time). The one exception: if your part ends up in the gallery, I hold on to its file so I can redo the picture — ask me and I'll take it down. More on the privacy page.
