A part I needed myself
It all started with a part I needed myself — a large battery enclosure that had to hold up under more than 100 kg of load. Since it's used outdoors, I wanted to use ASA, a plastic that stands up to both sun and heat.
Not a single workshop in Kaunas offered ABS/ASA printing. The only place to order was China, which meant weeks of waiting and customs delays. I needed four of similar parts, so I bought a printer and made them myself—and that's when I saw what it actually costs to make a part.

Why I do this
Ordering a locally 3D-printed part usually means dealing with unclear, inflated pricing—if anyone even bothers to reply to your email. If you only need a single item, it's incredibly inconvenient. I want to make that process simpler.
